Fun Trip to New Jersey

This past weekend Aleigha and I were able to go to NJ. We went for my niece Kaya's 1st birthday and a funeral of a distant family member. We were able to visit with lots of family and friends. It was a short visit, but we had a good time. We were glad to come home and be with Chris again...Aleigha always misses her Daddy when we go away. Not to mention...I miss him quite a bit too. Here are some cute pics taken over the weekend. Sorry there are so many of them....I have a hard time picking just a few.

7 Weeks Later

As many of you remember, our American Bulldog Sadie gave birth to puppies on July 21. Now the puppies are 7 weeks old and ready to be adopted. They have grown so much since they were born, and they have gotten really cute. We are adopting out these dogs for $50 each. Now keep in mind...they are not pure bred American Bulldogs...we are pretty sure they are mixed with Lab. They are very good natured and a lot of fun to play with. They've been wormed. Chris takes Aleigha out just about every day to play with them, and they do great with her. Here are some recent pictures of them...I also threw in a cute video of Aleigha with one...(as many of you recall the last video I posted "Aleigha being 'not so gentle'" with one of the pups....not much has changed). If any of you are interested in adopting one of our dogs or may know someone that is...please leave a comment to let me know. These puppies are so cute and lovable. There are a total of 11...so impossible for us to keep them. We really want to find them homes soon. Otherwise, we will have to take them to the humane society, and we really don't want to do that. So please, if you are interested, let us know. We are willing to work with you.

This is the only beige puppy we have...male

We are calling this color "cream brindle"...very pretty pups..
we have 2 like this...both female

We have 2 brindle pups...
absolutely adorable little dogs. 1 female/1 male

This puppy is mostly brown with a little black...
cute as a button...female

We have 4 black puppies with brown paws...resemble much like a rot
3 males/1 female...also very adorable

Aleigha the Pro!!!

The last few weeks we have been busy working around the house, going to school, babysitting, and carpooling. I haven't had a whole lot of time to get online. However, Aleigha has had lots of time to master the art of walking! She took her first step 3 days after she turned 10 months. She would only take a few steps every day. But as days went by, the number of steps grew. But it really wasn't until about 2 days ago, Aug. 2 when Aleigha really started going. Before she would take a few steps, fall down, then crawl. Now she takes several steps, falls down, picks herself up, and continues to walk. And as the hours go by, the number of falls decrease. Enjoy the video.
